Pat Morita, most famous as Mr. Miyagi, the Oscar winning wise karate master in the Karate Kid films has died at the age of 73. His other notable and most recognizable character was Arnold, the cranky owner of Arnold's Drive-In eatery in TV's award winning Happy Days.
While confining most of his roles to drama and comedy, Morita was no stranger to Science Fiction, making guest appearances in The Incredible Hulk, the short-lived series Space Rangers, and The Outer Limits.
Morita died on Thanksgiving Day at his home in Las Vegas of natural causes. He is survived by his wife of 12 years.
