One of the founding members of the francise, Majel starred in the original pilot as 'Number One' the XO on Captain Pike's (Jeffery Hunter) Enterprise in the original pilot. After the pilot wasn't well received by NBC, Majel was recast as 'Nurse Chappel' and started on the 40 year voyage that took her to multiple roles within the franchise. From 'Dr. Chappel' in the preceeding movies to 'Luxanna Troi' The lively mother to Deanna Troi (Marina Sirtis) on Next Gen, to the intangeble voice of the ships computers, Majel is a huge part of the legacy that Gene started.
Rod, son of the 'Great Bird' and Majel, is the executive producer of a documentary titled 'Trek Nation' along with becomming a huge supporter of the franchise that he himself once worked on as a production assistant on the Next Generation set.
